MAKE SURE YOUR STORIES ARE ALL PRINTED OUT
This week our goal is to meet the THURSDAY MARCH 31 (Blocks C and D)
and FRIDAY APRIL (Blocks H & F) DEADLINE for our Humans of AISJ
stories. What does that mean:
Stories are fully edited for:
CONTENT (what is the story) and
MECHANICS (grammar, punctuation, spelling, and capitalization
How will we do this:
PIPPS Roundtables
Rotate the reading of the stories - one person and one story at at time
for general feedback - CONTENT - What's the story
Once everyone has read all of their stores ALOUD the next step is rotating the stories amongst
your group for MECHANICS -
ONE-ON-ONE READING ON PAPER, MAKING CORRECTIONS
HINT: When looking for a story, read your
transcript carefully and identify the most
powerful (emotional) line in the interview.
This is usually the line you will end with.
I WILL ROTATE AMONG EACH PIPP TO MODEL EACH ELEMENT OF EDITING
